- A beautiful gas log stove from Vermont Castings. The bisque enamel blends beautifully with the travertine tile floor and wood trim. A remote control give complete control of the operation of the stove from any seat so you don't even have to get up from your cozy spot. Best of all, there's no wood chopping, wood hauling, wood ashes cleaning to be done!
- Window coverings in the kitchen, dining area and living room. I installed Roman shades on three windows to enhance the cozy feel of an evening indoors, with a view of the back deck and railing bedecked with lights.
- Solid pine benches have been added to the three bedrooms downstairs to provide a place for suitcases and seating while you're pulling on your ski pants and socks.
- Happy renters contribute helpful suggestions for little amenities to add to the kitchen equipment, so just about everything you'll need to cook up a storm is there!

Home Enhancements
I've added some great new interior features to the home for this 08-09 ski season:
It's a Winter Wonderland in the High Sierras
Just when we thought there'd be no snow for Christmas vacationers, the heavens delivered a glorious snowfall over the Sierra Nevadas and particularly Donner Summit area where great ski resorts like Sugar Bowl for downhillers, and Royal Gorge for x-country enthusiasts revel in the white stuff.
